The Den at Fox Run
Part of the Fox Run redevelopment, Somerstone, in a joint-venture with Bedford Development and VJS Construction, built a three-building, 72-unit, luxury apartment complex with underground parking on a site that was previously used a retail strip center.
The entire 11.6 acre parcel was acquired in 4Q19. With the exception of the existing Chase Bank, all of the improvements were razed and the site was split into five (5) lots. In addition, the site was improved with modern site infrastructure, improved drainage, enhanced landscaping and lighting, and vastly improved visibility and access. The property was a logical acquisition recognizing its location along a dynamic commercial corridor on the southwest side of Waukesha immediately west of the Shoppes
at Fox River, a 467,000 SF retail shopping destination.
In addition to The Den, the Fox Run project has been improved with a 33,000 square foot Ascension Milwaukee Hospital and a new Landmark Credit Union. Chase Bank remained in-place during the redevelopment process. One 2-acre lot remains available for development.
